been recommended by each department. However, not all departments have a
required book; therefore, it is of your benefit to talk to other students
and see what they used. It is also advisable to checkout your near by
Medical Bookstore and browse through their selection. There are vast
amounts of titles written for each topic therefore, it is difficult to
recommend just one. It is time for you to do a little research for which
books to use.
Other recommended and frequently used books by
students are the BLUE PRINTS series. They are USMLE Step 2 review
books. They are not substitutes for main text. Also, frequently
used by students are the BRS/NMS for each perspective field.
